The Latest from Blues

Rochdale match actionbBlues youngster Nathan Redmond has joined League Two side Burton Albion on a one month youth loan.

The 16-year-old winger will join up with Paul Peschisolido's side as the rising star looks to gain vital first-team experience.

The terms of his youth loan will also still allow Redmond to train with Blues and play in non first-team fixtures for his parent club.

The Academy prodigy has already made two first-team appearances for Blues in this season's Carling Cup and he became the club's second youngest player behind Trevor Francis when he took to the field in the second round victory over Rochdale aged 16 years and 173 days.

Redmond's stay at the Pirelli Stadium will run until February 19.
